“EnergyHandle”, a company specializing in the renewable energy and energy efficiency sector, plans to launch a floating photovoltaic plant in Sidi Slimane. This is an innovative project allowing both energy efficiency and water saving through floating solar panels. The installed capacity of the first phase of the project is 360KW with an annual production of about 644MWh. The project will avoid the emission of about 12,000 tons of CO2 during its 25-year operating period, reports a recent press release from the group.
According to the same source indicates that the commissioning of the first floating plant is scheduled in the coming weeks.
