(Agence Ecofin) – To lower costs, but also for a more efficient use and protection of resources, developers are regularly betting on floating solar power plants.
Morocco will put into service in a few weeks the first floating photovoltaic power plant under construction in Sidi Slimane. This innovative project will be the first to go into operation in Africa. The Moroccan company Energy Handle, has been in charge of the construction of the infrastructure in partnership with the Spanish company ISIGNERE. The works have taken 1 year.
