The Moroccan company “Handle Energy”, which specializes in the renewable energy and efficiency sector, said that the first floating solar power plant will be launched within the next few weeks.
The company confirmed that this innovative project, which is under construction in the city of Sidi Slimane, is unique in North Africa, noting that it is implementing it for the benefit of the “ Lady B ” company.
The completed floating solar power station on the surface of the water, with a capacity of 360 kilowatts, and a production of about 644 megawatt hours per year, this station also includes 800 units of solar panels.
